ROG Strix Go Core Moonlight White Gaming Headset is part of the Moonlight Series of gaming devices that comes in matte white. This wired gaming headset is comfortable and has a detachable mic.
ROG logo on the cans and soft cushion for the headband with the branded Republic of Gamers engraved. Design is sleek enough to be able to walk on the street and nobody will noticed it as there’s a lack of RGB LEDs.
The gaming headset weighs 252g and cable length is 1.2 meters long with an additional of 1.4 meters extension cable. 3.5mm headphones jack for compatibility to almost all kind of devices. Volume wheel is typical and easy to adjust.
There’s also the detachable boom microphone for in-game chats or even audio calls. Boom mic length is just nice and bendable for adjustments. There’s a hard switch for mic which is a bonus. The mic has a uni-directional 100-10kHz microphone that comes with a -45 dB sensitivity.
The cans features a pair of 40mm 32 Ohm drivers and a range of 20 to 40kHz. It meets the demand of a Hi-Res Audio certification. You also get. The whole headset clocks in at just 252g.
Paddings are soft and comfortable for long period of use. It’s breathable and won’t get that hot compared to other headphones.
Sound quality is pretty decent and nothing amazing to shout out about. There’s clarity when gaming but when it comes to music the sound lacks a punch and is good enough for causal listening and definitely not for bass lovers. Mic quality is good though. Voices are clear and conversation on calls are solid.
