ASUS ROG Cetra II Core Moonlight White in-ear gaming headphones is an in-ear model that is meant for gamers that prefer less head obstruction and less fatigue when gaming for long period of time. One of the more affordable ROG item that we can improve our gaming and it comes in White.
Matte White design with grey accents goes well with the Moonlight theme. The ROG logo is familiar and branded on the earpiece.
The cable does look a bit plain and incognito with the exception of the volume control/mic with the ROG logo on it. But it does feel well made and sturdy enough for daily use even outdoors.
The cord comes with a L-shaped connector that is preferred if you’re connecting it to your mobile phones for gaming. There’s a splitter included in the box for connecting to computer audio setup that has split output for sound and mic.
There are ear fins included but I don’t feel that comfortable using it for long period of time as I feel it traps more heat into my ears. It does keep it in place more firmly. The silicons earbuds are alright and comes in difference sizes. One pair for foam ear tips are included in this set and I feel more comfortable using it as compared to silicons as I feel it does remove some of the surrounding noises.
With the foam tips the lower frequency are much more defined and makes listening to music more pleasurable. Take note that foam tips are more likely to be worn out as compared to silicones but it’s cheap to replace.
Gaming with the Cetra II Core is a delight. Sounds are clear and loud enough with just 60% of volume power. Mic quality is decent for voice calls and in-game chat.
